Case Study: One of our consultants was employed by a family welfare charity to undertake a review of their trustee board as recently it had undergone a radical change in its membership.
After initial planning discussions, each trustee and the senior staff were interviewed and a 12 page report was produced outlining, amongst other key points, development areas in the recruitment and induction of trustees, ways that agendas and minutes of meetings could be improved and work areas for the trustees to discuss over the next 18 months.
Six months later the organisation reported that much of the action plan had been put into practice and the Board was proving to be more productive and pro-active.
